Shree Venkateshwara Hi Tech Engineering College inaugurated Youth Red Cross by K.C.Karupanan, Ex. M.L.A, the Secretary, delivered the presidential address. The Principal of SVHEC, Dr.P.Thangavel, felicitated and gave the welcome address to the function. Nearly 80 students and staff members participated and got benefited by this function.
   Youth Red Cross clubs are community youth groups who plan and conduct community service projects. Being a Youth Red Cross member gives young people the opportunity to:

• Expand their knowledge of human needs in their community and abroad
• Develop a sense of social responsibility
• Gain leadership and teamwork skills
• Learn through the practical applications of subjects they study in college
• Be part of the solutions, not the problems
